Why set intentions? If you've ever battled perfectionism or are someone who needs to cross off tasks as completed, setting goals may seem like another item to add on your already-too-long to-do list that you are afraid of just not accomplishing. And who wants that? But, may I remind you that the very word intention has the word intent, meaning you feel eager and earnest about wanting to meet your target. Because we should always strive for progress. To be stagnant is to grow dull (that's a literal definition for stagnate). A journey requires consistent movement towards something greater and intentions allow us to set our eyes on that next milestone. It's not about meeting your intentions with perfection, but striving forward. That is how we find our eden.
